Inukshuk

An Inukshuk is a pile of rocks, sometimes in the shape of a man. They help the Inuit people who live in the Arctic, sometimes by showing them where to find good hunting grounds for walrus, seal, whales and other animals that live in the sea, on the ice and on the land, Some point to a good landing site for the Kayak, show the way home,  or warn of danger, such as deep snow or strong undercurrents. Some inuksuit (plural of Inukshuk) were huge and made by piling big boulders, one on top  of the other. and you can see them from miles away.
